Another Winslet failure. After the nothing ever happening drudgery of Mare of Eastown she comes up with another epic fail. Except now you have too much happening and it's all gobbledegook nonsense that no one lucid will care to follow. Oh I'm sure some pretentious tools will give this high praise and spout some nonsensical recommendations. Ignore them. At least here she looks elegant and glamorous; unlike Mare where she looked disheveled and was as unappealing a character as I've ever seen. Mathias walks around like a lapdog lunatic and the rest of the cast is not far behind. If you can keep your eyes from glazing over perhaps you might figure out what's going on or better yet care. But as aforementioned if you're lucid you probably won't. Another HBO massive failure.
