From the intricacies of the plot, the battle in the forest, the sacrifice of Buntaro ( I don't think he's dead ), breaking through the gauntlet, the increasing friendship between Toranaga and Blackthorne and the burgeoning romance between Angin and Mariko made this a superlative episode.. I really wish I could watch all the episodes now. This is such a well made, spectacular show.. I have nothing but endless praises for it. Exceptional TV. To say that it has exceeded all expectations would be an understatement and I'm glad many others think the same. This show is firing on all cylinders and is a complete winner.
