caught this film a while ago on channel 4, united kingdom in the morning thought it was part of the carry on gene. Its not from memory its a simple crime/spy along the lines of Sherlock Holmes. What I most remember was old places of London completely different today and a lot of streets around saint James park and pall mall that are not public streets today. You get to see a lot of deserted streets at different times of the day and night with the lonely police bobby still using a police box and a whistle. old black and white still has some appeal today especially when you get to see the old times before you where born and see somewhere you have visited yourself in the present day.
