Bemusing and entertaining Euro-spy spoof with two of the biggest comedy actors : José Luis López Vázquez and Gracita Morales
ma-cortes7 December 2020
Hipólita: Gracita Morales , is an ugly Cabaret woman with no much success . Hipolita meets Daniel, Jose Luis López Vázquez , a travelling salesman who sells joke ítems , she draws him to a sucession of pursues , crashes , fights and intrigues . As Hipólita becomes involved in problems with a pursued Chinese spy, who puts into her purse a microfilm that other powerful and international spies : Tomás Blanco, attempt to take it . Along the way there takes place a series of incidents including the corpse of a dead Chinese , shootouts , kidnapping , blackmails and many others .

This is a José Luis López Vázquez and Gracita Morales vehicle in which they show their hilarious , comical skills . It deals with a so-so parody to Euro-spy subgenre that was usual in the Sixties , from the successful James Bond films as Doctor No , From Russia with love or Goldfinger . In the Euro-spy genre was habitual twisted intrigues about atomic threats , microfilms, spectacular chases and anything else . Hightlights of the movie are the amusing musical acting at the cabaret or when the unattractive Hipólita/Gracita Morales imitates a famous song of Rafael , as well as the final pursuit on the water skiing , as while being pursued they are shooting with their machine guns . These two greatest comical actors , Gracita Morales and José Luis López Vázquez give a fun recital of their funny abilities , they are well accompanied by various known secondaries , such as : Mara Cruz , Marisol Ayuso, Tomás Blanco, Enrique Ávila, Goyo Lebrero , Felix Dafauce, Paloma Cela , Xan Das Bolas and Antonio Ozores.

It contains atmospheric musical score by José Torregosa and evocative cinematography by Vicente Minaya, shot on sunny locations in Málaga and Marbella . The picture was regularly directed by prolific artisan Mariano Ozores who made about 93 movies. His first movie fue Las Dos Y Media Y veneno 1959. His especiality is comedy genre in which usually appears his family members such as Jose Luis Ozores , Antonio Ozores and Adriana Ozores . But he also made religious genre as Alegre Juventud 1962 , a documentary as Morir en España 1965 and even a sci-fi : La Hora Incógnita 1963. Of course , his greatest hits in the Spanish comedy include titles as Crónicas de 9 meses, , A mi las Mujeres ni fu ni fa , Los Bingueros, Dormir y Ligar Todo Es Empezar, , Que Gozada de Divorcio, Cristóbal Colon de Oficio Descubridor, Que Vienen los Socialistas , Hacienda Somos Casi Todos, among others . Rating 4,5/10.
