  • In his office Wonka is seen with a cigar
  • In the inventing room, there are two tins labeled butterscotch and buttergin. Mr. Salt makes a comment on it, to which Wonka replies "candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker."

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • During the boat tunnel scene, Wonka sings an eerie sounding song as various scary images are projected on the walls whilst all the passengers are very frightened.
  • After consuming soda that makes them float Charlie and Grandpa Joe begin rising toward a large exhaust fan. They repeatedly cry out for help but their cries go unheeded. They are able to narrowly escape after discovering that burping will cause them to descend.
  • A boy falls into a chocolate river and is sucked up a pipe where he is stuck for several seconds before he gets shot out of sight. It is later revealed that he will be okay.
  • A girl turns into a gigantic blueberry. Her face becomes blue and her body swells up to the point where she can't move and has to be rolled away. It is later revealed that she will be okay.

Violence & Gore

  • NO Violence. Except for in the tunnel scene there is a flash of a chicken getting decapitated and I don't think it's fake.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Four children's are not an good role models due to their poor behavior, which lead them into peril situations. The scenes is not shown know where they are, but near the end Willy Wonka say they will be ok and leave his chocolate factory.
