70´es time capsule relic.

Hopelessly dated and unintentionally hilarious talkfest with extensive nudity stars an uncomfortable Lisbeth Lundquist as a woman coming to terms with the men (and women) in her life. Offensively stupid dialogue and lethargic pace, with a cast that is mostly miscast, Holger Juul Hansen (Dr. Moesgaard from "The Kingdom 1 + 2") plays Lundquist´s gay friend, Ulf Pilgaard (who played the Nick Nolte part in the original Danish "Nightwatch") is her love interest. This was a box office hit in Denmark back in 1975, probably because of its many sex scenes, which are just about as erotic as the Financial Times. Directed by Peter Refn, brother of director Anders Refn ("The Flying Devils") and the uncle of director Nicolas Winding Refn ("Pusher", "Bleeder"). Watch it and have a nice nap. 0 (of ****)

Superkitsch from the "free loving" 70s

If you don't speak Danish, this won't do much for you except for massive doses of nudity. It's based on a "daring" novel by Suzanne Brøgger. All the characters encounter several kinky adventures but they all talk like way they did on the Danish theaters in 40s, making it all an unintentionally laugh riot. Even the hippies of Christiania talks like my grandparents! As funny and ultrapretentious as "Last Tango In Paris" (even though it's too long). Surely a film you can tease your "progressive" parents to death with. The mindboggling film was made by the father of Nicholas Winding Refn who made "Pusher" and "Bleeder"!
