Sex & Nudity

  • A young woman's (Lisa) blouse rips accidentally and one breast is totally exposed and clearly visible. The camera lingers on it for a few seconds. This is witnessed by a room full of folks including Jonathan, Skip, Roscoe, and Roger.
  • A man and a woman (Jonathan and Ellen) make out in an elevator then are seen cuddling in a bed. No nudity. They might be having sex under the covers but it is not clear. Later the young man discusses the experience with his roommate, but the talk is vague and easily misunderstood. Then he gets much attention from other guys for his accomplishment but it is quite vague about what the accomplishment is.
  • Later they are seen from the waist up and clearly naked and having sex. The woman's breasts are almost exposed but not quite.

  • The story is about high school boys. So, yes, there is a lot a profanity.

  • There exists within this film quite a large amount of alcoholic drinking: drinking at various city bars, drinking within and without certain automobiles, and finally, drinking within student dormitories.
  • One of the main characters smokes a pipe, though it is never actually lit.
  • A large amount of cigarette smoking is seen throughout the movie.
  • Marijuana is smoked several times
