Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is in full swing, and it appears that a recent update for Call of Duty saw one weapon become increasingly overpowered. However, this didn’t last long for the weapon in question, and in a matter of days, the Op weapon was nerfed, no doubt shattering many a player’s win streaks.
Developers have a habit of nerfing and buffing weapons as they see fit, and it may come as no surprise to see them taking action in just a few days. No doubt CoD players would have been extremely vocal about having come up against the Evolvere Lmg and receiving somewhat of a spanking. Let’s be honest, they don’t hold back when they feel they are being cheated out of a win.

Much like how they feel about Christopher Walken, impressionists love to do the voice of Johnny Carson. In addition to being a brilliant television host, Carson also had a unique vocal style, not to mention a few catch-phrases (including the famous "weird, wild stuff"). Now it looks like years of practice could pay off for one impressionist, as now a biopic about the legend is in the works. Deadline says that producers John McLaughlin and Tom Thayer are now working with Carson's estate to make a movie about the beloved Tonight Show host. McLaughlin, who had a hand in writing the Best Picture Oscar-nominated Black Swan as well as the upcoming film Hitchcock, is adapting the script based on author Bill Zehme's book "Carson The Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait." Zehme was the only journalist that Carson spoke with following his retirement from television, and recently appeared in the documentary...

Atlas Shrugged Part 2, Kevin James Bomb at the North American box office AS2, based on Ayn Rand's sprawling novel -- renowned by the American Right, derided by everybody else -- and the Frank Coraci-directed Kevin James comedy Here Comes the Boom, apparently to be derided by both the Right and everybody else, are about to become the weekend's major box-office bombs. (Please scroll down to check out box-office estimates for two other new releases: Summit's Sinister and the all-star action comedy Seven Psychopaths.) (Above photo: Samantha Mathis, Dagny Taggart in the sequel AS2.) Swept away to fifth place, the James flick Here Comes the Boom is expected to gross approximately $12 million over the weekend after bringing in an estimated $3 million to 4 million on Friday at 3,014 theaters, as per early, rough box-office estimates found on the entertainment news web site Deadline.com. (Official Friday estimates come out Saturday morning.

Paramount is once again shuffling the release date of Dead Snow director Tommy Wirkola’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. This time the change is only a few weeks as opposed to a whole year, but that doesn’t mean there’s not still plenty of time between now and then to push it back more.
As you may recall, the Paramount and MGM supernatural action fantasy starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the Grimm fairy tale brother and sister all grown up and turned gun-toting witch hunters after wicked witch Famke Janssen got bumped a whole year from March 12, 2012, to January 11, 2013. At the time the explanation was that the studio wanted to hold off releasing the film until after the summer, when they hoped Renner’s roles in The Avengers and The Bourne Legacy would make him a bigger box office draw. While we enjoy bringing you updates of projects and cast attachments that are pushing forward, it’s time to go into the other direction. A trio have actors have announced they will not take part in a few upcoming projects and first up, we’ll take the most obvious.
Back in 2006, Gerard Butler broke out as King Leonidas in Zack Snyder‘s 300 and with the follow-up shooting now, we were slightly curious if he would pop in for at least a small cameo role. But the actor told MTV that he’s “not doing it…I wish them the best, but it didn’t [work out]. It wasn’t really my thing.” It sounds like a smart move for an actor that has moved on. Directed by Noam Murro, 300: Battle of Artemisia stars Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor, Callan Mulvey, Jack O’Connell and Andrew Tiernan,...

Octavia Spencer, best known for her Oscar-winning performance in The Help, has been cast in David E. Talbert’s upcoming comedy Baggage Claim. Spencer will be featured alongside Paula Patton and Derek Luke in the Fox Searchlight project. The film is based on Talbert’s best-selling novel about a flight attendant seeking love in the skies in a 30-day, 30,000-mile search for the perfect man. Spencer has not slowed since her 2011 Oscar win. She will also be appearing in two soon to be released films including an untitled feature length directed by Diablo Cody, as well as in Snowpiercer, a thriller from director Joon-ho Bong.
Spencer is not the only one with her head in the sky; Dakota Goyo has just been cast in the thriller Dark Skies, which will be directed by Scott Stewart. Goyo will play a young boy who is being targeted for abduction by an alien disguised as a human.

Back in March, Reese Witherspoon and her newly-formed Pacific Standard made their first purchase with M.A. Larson‘s debut novel, Pennyroyal’s Princess Boot Camp. The actress has been doing plenty of other things in the meantime — shooting Devil’s Knot with Atom Egoyan, conducting other pick-ups, and so on — but the thing’s starting to become a bigger priority, thanks in full to Summit Entertainment.
Deadline tells us the company have opted to imbue Boot Camp with their powers of distribution, thus giving Witherspoon the task of compiling its complete team and getting things into shooting shape. Larson herself will write the screenplay, suggesting it’ll stick well to the book’s story: a young, orphaned girl is sent to Pennyroyal Boot Camp, whereat those of her sort are trained to be warriors capable of battling witches. A fine cast of aged actors has already stepped into the comedy Last Vegas, a new comedy from writer Dan Fogelman (Crazy Stupid Love) and director Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure, Cool Runnings). Michael Douglas is playing an old ladies man who calls three childhood friends together for a wild bachelor party in Vegas before he settles down with a girl half his age. Morgan Freeman and Robert De Niro already joined the cast as two of the friends, and now Deadline reports Kevin Kline (Life as a House, In & Out) has taken the role of the final friend for the film that sounds like it could be The Hangover for grandparents. Read on! Christopher Walken was long rumored to take that final role, but it sounds like that didn't work out. Turteltaub has ever really taken on a comedy like this, but since he's working with a script from Dan...

Lionsgate has confirmed that he’s set to join Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson and will play the head game organizer in the film, which should be a welcome respite from his grueling nightly performances as Willy Loman in the Mike Nichols-directed Tony-winning Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s classic play. Here’s the release: Santa Monica, CA, July 9, 2012- Lionsgate® and the filmmakers of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire are pleased to announce that Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast in the role of Plutarch Heavensbee, Head Gamemaker for The Hunger Games,...

Updated: Now with full press release
It was only a month ago when Philip Seymour Hoffman, one of our finest actors, was rumoured to be circling a role in The Hunger Games sequel: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Though not confirmed at the time, now it seems that the actor has officially signed on to the blockbuster.
Hoffman will play Plutarch Heavensbee, the person who becomes head gamemaker after the death of Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games. Lionsgate hasn’t announced the actor’s involvement just yet, but there is expected to be a press release within the next couple of days.
Personally, I’m very excited to see Hoffman joining this franchise, for a couple of reasons. He’s one of my very favourite actors, he has been good in every film he’s ever been in (even if it’s really bad) and I really, really liked The Hunger Games,...

As he’s currently shooting the Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, and Christopher Walken buddy comedy Stand Up Guys, a press release announces that Fisher Stevens — who, just a few years back, won an Oscar for producing the acclaimed documentary The Cove — will next helm an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel American Pastoral, which Lakeshore and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment are producing.
Originally written by Philip Roth — and adapted by John Romano (The Lincoln Lawyer) — the ’60s-set story follows Seymour “the Swede” Levov, an idealistic American do-gooder whose family is torn apart when his daughter, a rebellious girl, is arrested for illegal acts in protest of the Vietnam War. The moral quandaries created here sound right in line with Stevens‘ documentary, Crazy Love, or first narrative, Just a Kiss — and it’s in a period I’m wholly fascinated with, to boot. Let’s hope this one comes together with the right team.

Brendan Fraser Stars In Oddball Irish Stick-Up Flick.
It’s hard to get a bead on Brendan Fraser. In a way, it always has been. At the outset of his career, he certainly seemed to be part of the latter-day Tiger Beat crowd, lumped into the Sean Astin strata of notoriety.
The only flick of his that I really remember taking a liking to was Blast from the Past, with Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, and Christopher Walken. In that flick, Brendan plays a guy in his late teens/early twenties, who was raised in a bomb shelter by his doomsday prepper dad (Walken). The role fit Fraser more or less like a glove, allowing him to showcase whatever that wholesome thing is that people love so much.

Last month it was reported that Dan Fogelman’s long-gestating script Last Vegas was finally going to be put into production. After several stops and starts, the story of four aged friends going to Vegas for one last crazy bachelor’s party was said to be going forward with Jon Turteltaub set to direct and Michael Douglas signed on to star. That was what we knew for sure – who would be signed to fill out the rest of the film’s wrinkly but still rocking quartet was up in the air. Early reports had Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken rumored as being likely candidates for two of the characters, and since that time De Niro has indeed become confirmed, but nothing further has been said about Walken’s involvement. Today Deadline Greenwood has some new info regarding the film’s casting process, and how their scouring of Tinsel Town’s old folks homes is going. Apparently...

Now this sounds like a geriatric party I want to check out. Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro are already attached to the comedy Last Vegas from director Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure), and now a third veteran actor is being tossed into the mix. Deadline reports the incomparable Morgan Freeman is in negotiations to star in the film written by Dan Fogleman (Crazy Stupid Love, My Mother's Curse) and sounds like The Hangover for grandparents about a quartet of retired boomers who are called upon for a Vegas bachelor party by their friend, a ladies man finally settling down and marrying a woman half his age. That's three out of the four main characters cast, and though Christopher Walken has also been rumored for a role, we've yet to receive confirmation on that front. Given that the two films in the franchise are the number one and number two R-rated comedies of all time, it's no surprise that studios are desperately attempting to recapture the formula of "The Hangover." Whether it's in set-up, like Sundance comedy "Bachelorette", or in spirit, like last summer's "Horrible Bosses", there are all kinds of spiritual successors to Todd Phillips' smash hit in the can or in the works, but they've all been lacking in one obvious thing: old people! Old people doing young people things are always funny! How else do you explain Betty White?
As such, CBS Films comedy "Last Vegas" is likely on to a winner, and the film's been assembling an all-star cast of pensioners for its tale of four elderly friends who head to the Sunset Strip for the bachelor party of the last of them to get hitched. Michael Douglas was the first on board,...

Yesterday at the Tribeca Film Festival, a special event was held celebrating the centennial anniversary of Universal Pictures. This “100 Years Panel,” hosted by Deadline staffer Mike Fleming, featured an introduction by Ron Meyer, Universal’s long-standing CEO, and panelists Judd Apatow and Robert De Niro (both frequent Universal employees and creative partners). And while this might have seemed like a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Universal’s first 100 years (and the movies De Niro and Apatow have memorably contributed), it turned out to be a slog – an excruciatingly unentertaining hour that oscillated between terse answers by De Niro and wild outbursts from Apatow. At one point Meryl Streep was scheduled to be the third panelist (she had to back out due to a family illness) and you suspect she could have balanced the scales a little bit, since most of the time it felt not like a celebration of Universal’s...

Fox has cancelled Terra Nova, but the show may find a life on another network. Deadline reports that the show from producers Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin will not have a second season. Jason O'Mara and Stephen Lang lead the cast of the show set 85 million years in the past. Despite the show's 259 practical sets and 16 months of post-production, it could not maintain an audience.
It seems as though Terra Nova was doomed from the very beginning. The pilot script was penned by Craig Silverstein and Kelly Marcel, but Silverstein was not able to stay with the project because his CW pilot Nikita was picked up to series. Julianna Margulies may be earning rave reviews these days for "The Good Wife" -- she's won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role as lawyer Alicia Florrick, just for starters -- but she first rose to fame on the long running medical drama "ER." So old school Margulies fans are in for a special treat today, as Deadline is reporting that Margulies is heading back to the hospital for the upcoming Al Pacino flick "Stand Up Guys."
Nurse Carol Hathaway, report to the emergency room, stat.
"Stand Up Guys," which is scheduled to begin shooting next month, stars Pacino and Alan Arkin as a pair of elderly hitmen who decide to "have one last night of wildness before one has to murder the other." Described as an "action dramedy," whatever the heck that is, the movie also co-stars Christopher Walken, so we expect there will be some deranged humor involved as well.

New York. In Gob Squad's Kitchen (You've Never Had It So Good), a show at the Public Theater through Sunday, the German/British collective Gob Squad reconstructs a batch of films by Andy Warhol, in particular, of course, Kitchen (1965). Amy Taubin files a terrific report at Artforum, recalling an early-ish assessment of the film by Norman Mailer and noting "the Warhol/Godard connection." At the outset of the performance, the audience is taken on a tour of the set and told "that the black-and-white video projections which comprise almost the entire performance (and which resemble the texture and tonalities of Warhol's black-and-white 16mm films) are a simulcast of the performance taking place in the colorful, three-dimensional space behind the screens — and not a prerecorded video. The strategy works. Paradoxically, the video, which is larger than life but also ghostly, is more convincing than seeing flesh-and-blood performers moving around a...

Who doesn't like a movie about people getting frozen? Deadline reports Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Christopher Walken are circling Freezing People Is Easy, which will be directed by Academy Award-winning director Errol Morris (Gates of Heaven). The script was penned by Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction) and will be produced by Film Rites’ Steve Zaillian and Garrett Basch, along with This American Life‘s Ira Glass and Alissa Shipp.
The concept is based on an episode of This American Life, about the memoir We Froze The First Man. Helm's script will tell the true story of "Bob Nelson, a 1960s Los Angeles television repairman who tried to pioneer the field of cryogenics by freezing humans. He quickly discovered that it was more difficult than he imagined." The film is slated to start shooting in mid-2012.
Wiig has been in hot demand since Bridesmaids was released over the summer.

Sequel News of the Day: Last summer Horrible Bosses grossed more than $200 million worldwide, so a sequel for the modestly-budgeted dark comedy was inevitable. The original writers are now on board for Horrible Bosses 2, and stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day are expected to return; the studio is “in early talks” with director Seth Gordon. (The Hollywood Reporter) Frozen Stars: Academy Award-winning documentarian Errol Morris will be directing a live-action feature entitled Freezing People is Easy, set in the 1960s and based on a true story. He could have a dream cast: Paul Rudd is attached to star, while Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Christopher Walken are said to be “circling” the project. (Deadline) Brotherly Art...

Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig and Christopher Walken are all said to be circling Errol Morris' "Freezing People Is Easy" at Film Rites reports Deadline.
Inspired by the memoir "We Froze The First Man" and an episode of "This American Life", the true story tale follows a 1960s Los Angeles television repairman (Paul Rudd) who tried to pioneer the field of cryogenics by freezing humans - something far more difficult than he imagined.
Zach Helm ("Stranger Than Fiction") penned the script while Steve Zaillian, Garrett Basch, Ira Glass and Alissa Shipp are producing. Everyone is said to be pretty much locked except Wiig whose SNL commitments and other offers on the table mean she may not be able to fit it into her schedule. Shooting will kick off sometime mid-year.

[1] Whether or not Kristen Wiig decides to do Bridesmaids 2 [2], what's obvious is that she's not wanting for work. The actress-writer-producer is already involved with several intriguing projects, and she may soon be attached to one more. Wiig, along with Owen Wilson and Christopher Walken, are circling roles in Errol Morris' Freezing People is Easy, based on Robert F. Nelson's memoir We Froze the First Man and a This American Life segment titled "You’re as Cold as Ice." Paul Rudd has been set for the lead role [3] of Nelson since last year. More details after the jump. Written by Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction), the fact-based tale revolves around Nelson, a TV repairman who attempted to devise his own method of cryogenic perservation in the 1960s. As you might imagine, things don't go quite as planned, and Nelson winds up having to apologize to the families of those he's tried and failed to freeze.

Freezing people is easy. Coming up with a great cast for a major motion picture about cryogenics? Now that's hard.
And yet, it looks as though Oscar winning director Errol Morris has done just that, as Deadline is reporting that Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, Owen Wilson and Christopher Walken are all close to inking deals to appear in the upcoming film "Freezing People Is Easy."
When they said the iceman cometh, this is probably not what they had in mind.
Here's the background on "Freezing People," which is clearly a bit of an odd duck right from the synopsis: Based on Robert Nelson's memoir "We Froze the First Man," it tells the tale of how Nelson and his cohorts created cryogenics in the mid 1960's through trial and error, a process which we're pretty happy we didn't get to see first hand.
Screenwriter Zach Helm ("Stranger Than Fiction"), however,...

Errol Morris' cryogenics comedy Freezing People Is Easy is thawing out a pretty impressive cast. Paul Rudd signed on for the flick back in July, and now Deadline reports that Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Christopher Walken may be joining the film as well. Dang it, I really had my hopes up for a Balls of Fury sequel. Freezing People is Easy is based on two sources: a memoir by Robert Nelson called We Froze the First Man and an episode of Ira Glass' popular radio show This American Life (Glass is also a producer on the movie). Both center on Nelson, a TV repairman who, back in the '60s, managed to stumble his way into being one of the preeminent people in the field of cryogenics/cryonics. The notion of freezing terminally ill people, to be awakened at some point in the future when they can be cured,...

There’s a headline you don’t always expect.
As Deadline reports, the inestimable talents of, yes, Paul Rudd, Christopher Walken, Kristen Wiig, and Owen Wilson will come together for Freezing People is Easy, the second narrative feature from documentary filmmaker Errol Morris. (The first is 1991′s largely forgotten The Dark Wind.) Stranger than Fiction scribe Zach Helm has written the script, which is based on two things: We Froze the First Man, a book by the main subject, Bob Nelson, and an episode of This American Life that chronicled his exploits. The show’s host, Ira Glass, will produce with Steve Zaillian, Garrett Basch, and Alissa Shipp.
Both tell a dark, presumably funny tale — that of “a 1960s Los Angeles television repairman who tried to pioneer the field of cryogenics by freezing humans.” After a while, Nelson “quickly discovered that it was more difficult than he imagined.” Rudd will...

Errol Morris? Cryogenics? Sound familiar? Over the summer, the documentarian Morris let it drop that Paul Rudd would lead his adaptation of the memoir “We Froze The First Man.” Well, it looks like it's now beginning to take shape with a new title and one helluva cast coming together. Now known as "Freezing People Is Easy" (ha!), Deadline reports that Owen Wilson, Kirsten Wiig (who needs "Bridesmaids 2"?) and Christopher Walken are all looking at snagging roles in the film. The cryogenic comedy, that will also draw on “You’re As Cold As Ice” a story featured on the NPR program “This American Life," will follow the book's author Bob Nelson in the 1960s as he joins a group of fellow enthusiasts who believe they can cheat death through cryonics. Unfortunately, Bob makes a few mistakes along the way and has to admit to family members of those he had tried...

Months ago, I was excited to learn that part of the In Bruges crew, writer/director Martin McDonagh and Colin Farrell would team again for a new film called Seven Psychopaths. I became more psyched about the news of Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken and Mickey Rourke joining Farrell in the cast. But no so fast, it turns out Rourke called McDonagh a "jerkoff" and up and quit the film, according to Deadline.
Now Zombieland star Woody Harrelson has stepped into the role vacated by Rourke.

Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits and Olga Kurylenko have all joined the cast of "In Bruges" helmer Martin McDonagh's "Seven Psychopaths" for Blueprint Pictures, Film4 and CBS Films says Deadline.
Colin Farrell plays a screenwriter who struggles to find the handle on his script. He soon gets drawn into the dog-napping escapades of his friends (Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken).
Once the beloved Shih Tzu owned by a psychopathic gangster (Woody Harrelson) goes missing, the scribe finds himself fueled with all the drama he needs if he can stay alive long enough to write it all down.
Harrelson replaces Mickey Rourke who dropped out before he signed a deal and this week publicly derided McDonagh in an interview. Graham Broadbent and Peter Czernin are producing and shooting kicks off this week in Los Angeles.

Woody Harrelson has signed up to replace Mickey Rourke in playwright/director Martin McDonagh's new movie Seven Psychopaths.
The Wrestler star quit the project recently and went public with his feelings about the director in an online interview over the weekend.
He told Moviefone.com, "The director was a jerk-off... who wanted a whole lot for nothing."
But it appears Harrelson doesn't have the same problem with McDonagh - he will join the moviemaker's leading man Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell in the project.
According to Deadline.com, Tom Waits and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko have also signed on for parts in Seven Psychopaths.

Mickey Rouke has burned a few bridges this past week. The Academy Award winning actor has spoken out about Jon Favaeru’s directing in Iron Man 2 and Marvel Studios itself, and he also took a shot at In Brugess director Martin McDonagh’s directing style, calling him a jerkoff. So while Rourke left the latter role, Seven Psychopaths have added Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, and Olga Kurylenko to the cast, reports Deadline. The three will join Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, and Christopher Walken in a caper that has Farrell’s character as a dognapping screenwriter. But things take a turn for the worst when Shih Tzu of a psychopathic gangster goes missing, and Farrell’s character as well has two of this friends find themselves on the run.
Rouke was originally cast to play as the gangster, but since he dropped out, but Zombieland actor Woody Harrelson quickly replaced him.

Woody Harrelson is set to go stark raving mad.
The "Hunger Games" star has joined Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell and Colin Farrell in Martin McDonagh's dark crime comedy, "Seven Psychopaths," according to Deadline.
"Seven Psychopaths" follows a screenwriter (Farrell) as he struggles to finish his new screenplay, "Seven Psychopaths" (ah, it's a meta-comedy!), and gets drawn into the dog-napping escapades of his friends (Rockwell and Walken). Once the beloved Shih Tzu owned by a psychopathic gangster (to be played by Woody, who's replacing Mickey Rourke) goes missing, the screenwriter finds himself fueled with all the drama he needs for his screenplay ... if he can stay alive long enough to write it all down.
This sounds like more than a worthy companion piece to McDonagh's "In Bruges" (which also starred Farrell), which is one of the best movies ever made, quite frankly.

Even though it was his directorial debut, Martin McDonagh managed to assemble one hell of a cast for when he made In Bruges. Bringing together Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes, the movie was not only brilliantly written, but featured some outstanding performances. But McDonagh is planning to go even bigger for his sophomore effort, Seven Psychopaths. In addition to bringing back Farrell, the filmmaker has also brought on Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken. But that's not all. According to Deadline, Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits and Olga Kurylenko have all signed on for parts in Seven Psychopaths. In the movie, Farrell plays a struggling screenwriter who is friends with a couple of delinquents (Rockwell and Walken) who run a racket kidnapping dogs. Just a day ago I talked about Seven Psychopaths, the new movie [1] from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh, because Mickey Rourke had proclaimed [2] McDonagh to be a 'jerkoff' and refused to be in the film. McDonagh "wanted a whole lot for nothing,” the actor said, so he bailed. Everything has worked out fine, as long as I'm concerned, however. Rourke is gone, but now Woody Harrelson has taken his role, and Olga Kurylenko and Tom Waits have also signed on to the film that already featured Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken. Deadline [3] says that the film began production this week, with Farrell playing the main character, a screenwriter who is having trouble with his work. He's implicated in some shadowy dealings of two friends (Rockwell and Walken) who may or may not have stolen a dog from a gangster (Harrelson). How do Waits and Kurylenko fit in? No idea.

In a rather bitter statement, Rourke said, "The director was a jerkoff. He wanted a whole lot for nothing. He can go play with himself." I thought In Bruges was a fantastic film, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the director ends up giving us with this new movie. Especially with such a great cast! Harrelson has gotten his mojo back, and will make a solid edition to the cast.

Martin McDonagh‘s In Bruges follow-up, Seven Psychopaths, hit something of a bump in the road when Mickey Rourke very publicly announced that he wouldn’t appear in the film. A slightly disappointing development for sure, but it’s been more than compensated for with Deadline‘s report that Woody Harrelson will replace Rourke in the film, while Tom Waits and Olga Kurylenko are also jumping on board.
Harrelson is taking the role of Charlie, “a psychopathic gangster” whose dog is stolen by Billy and Hans (Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken, respectively).
