It's obvious when the telephone operator tells Hugh Herbert that she has Niagara Falls for him that water is going to shoot out of the phone. His wife has filed for divorce and gone to Reno so there's no reason for him to be calling upstate New York. When he gets to the smallest little city, he's abused by golf pros, slapped by newly divorced females and stunned to find his wife with another man. Somehow a newlywed couple gets his note which puts him in trouble with the husband, and of course this gives his wife further ammunition. Funny enough but pretty predictable, with Herbert constantly in trouble with everyone from the hotel guests to the suspicious detective. Herbert in drag pretending to be the maid is worth sitting through everything else.
