The documentary is great for people wanting to see again their Mexican movie idols. Also, for people that want to learn about the golden era of Mexican movies. It's well worth seeing it.

This documentary took me back in time when Mexican movies were really great. It focuses on the best movies of the golden era of Mexican movies. You get to see some of your best Mexican stars of the era, and it even makes you want to even buy some of those movies that are shown on the documentary. I was very pleased with this movie, and I'm sure a lot of other people will be too. From the very start of this movie, I knew that I was going to like it. I recorded the movie on a VHS cassette, and my family and I watched it over and over whenever we had a chance to see it. Too bad that I didn't have cable at the time, so I adjusted my television's antenna as best as I could, but the picture did not come out very well. Any way, that VHS was damaged eventually by a faulty VCR player, and I threw it away. I haven't been able to find it available anywhere. As soon as it is available I will buy it.

A great retrospective of the mexican movies, narrated by it´s protagonists. The last adieu to several of them as they tell the audience, with the help of clips from movies their experiences, their memories and share with us the legacy of over 50 years of mexican cinema. Worth watching more than once, alas, there´s a lack of dates and whose picture is whose at some points, no captions anywhere. Great homage anyway!
