The amoral world of Nelson Rodrigues is back worst than never!!
elo-equipamentos2 May 2024
In this new adaptation to widescreen, once more the amoral Nelson Rodrigues goes beyond of his fertile imagination about a wealthy successful businessman played by Paulo Porto when his daughter Adrianna Pietro is about to marry, then came up several weird events as homo-sex.uality, betrayal, unmentionable forbidden things from the past, and even a supposed sexual desire between father and daughter, whatever all worst thing we can imagine from the deranged mind of Nelson Rodrigues.

For large majority of audience such freak offering can sounds as foolish, some as bad taste and the remaining as just laughable, certainly it can't be taken so seriously, in my personal case it inflicted me rebuff, be ready for worst.

Thanks for reading.

Seems better in the beginning... but not at all

After a mildly promising beginning (although a little generic both for a Rodriguean adaptation and for a Brazilian film from the 70's, quite similar to many others), it worsens a lot, becoming chaotic dirty bad-taste nonsense. Initially, weirdness brings an intriguing atmosphere. But soon it becomes clear that it is just one more noisy and boring crappy experiment by Arnaldo Jabor. Quite typical of him...
