Sex & Nudity

  • Extremely mild. Occasionally there were scenes with barely dressed women. One episode featured a woman doing a belly dance. Also, the tension between Lois and Clark and Lois and other men was noticeable at times; although probably not to kids.
  • It is implied that the main archenemy of the series lives with a woman that he is not married to.

Violence & Gore

  • Most of the violence was pretty mild, about at a "Superfriends"-like level, but it did escalate somewhat at times. There was an episode that featured a bar brawl, in which actual blows were landed; another episode had Superman getting scratched by a magical creature, that actually cut him.
  • The most gruesome scene was in "The Hunter," in which a character was believed to have been killed by getting poisoned by a deadly substance. The character's skin became discolored due to the poisoning.
  • Terrorism was referenced in "Destroy the Defendroids."

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of the monsters and villains might be a little scary for small children. "Bonechill" especially might be an episode that could be scary for some kids.
