I think that this was an interesting short animation.

Sure, it could be a seen as a confusing and obscure allegory, but personally, I liked it.

"Canada Vignettes: The Egg" somehow reminded me the early shorts of Jan Svankmajer.

The animation quality was decent, without being nothing incredible.

I'm not very sure if "The Egg" works as a metaphor, but I appreciate the originality of the way in which the interesting concept behind it is executed.

Definitely, this is not the best of all the "Canada Vignettes" but is worth watching.

don't know what i can say about this flim but i'll give it a shot. it's a claymation flim about a egg that uses different ways to stop from hatching .arms pop out of the shell to fix the cracks and uses everything but the kitchen sink. when you get to the end you be wondering what it's about but give it a shot.
