- The ogre unit's buttocks are fully visible, though this is done mainly for laughs.

- One unit's death animation involves its green brains splattering on the ground. This animation fades quickly, however.
- Armies of various sizes can storm towns and other armies, fighting and killing anyone in their path.
- Slain soldiers and slaves fall dead and bloodied to the ground. Their bodies will slowly rot to a skeleton, then disappear not long afterwards.
- Soldiers and destructive forces, such as explosive catapults, spells and giant monsters, can destroy enemy structures, which catch fire and explode.

- Some battle sequences can get very tense, especially if the armies are numerous in count.
- Enemy soldiers can attack without warning.
