Throughout Siobhan Magnus's run on Idol, the nineteen year old singer displayed such confidence and grace which was seen last week, when Ryan Seacrest delivered the bad news that she would be leaving. Although Magnus fans are still starching their hands after their American Idol (TV) hopeful was voted off last week, the singer is happy with the decision and looks forward to moving on. The judges gave her rave performance reviews, including Simon, for her take on Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine." Check out what the judges had to say: Kara DioGuardi: "Guess who's back? Siobhan!" Randy Jackson: "I loved it. I love the whole funky country thing." Simon Cowell: "I really, really like that song . It was fun; it was good." Ellen DeGeneres: "Good way to end the show. Fantastic!" Even though the night before she got voted off the American Idol (TV) stage,...

Wailin' Siobhan Magnus was the latest "American Idol" contestant sent home. Only one female left! She talks in her exit interview about her patented high notes, her fellow contestants, her boyfriend at home and what kind of album she wants to cut in the future.
On her signature screaming high notes:
I'm pretty sure I figured out how to do that in the shower in high school one night. I'm an avid shower singer, much to the dismay of my family and my neighbors, but I was singing a Kelly Clarkson song and I went to hit one note and when I reached it, I was able to resonate it in a differnet part of my head where I could belt it that high. Ever since I figured it out, I started to use it more and more, in school choirs and in my band and it becames very useful...

Green has long been heralded as one of the region's finest music directors, while Ditty has gained a justifiably stellar reputation as one of the best choreographers around. With this production, which exemplifies the term "all-singing, all-dancing," it's apropos then that the two would share the directing credit. Obviously, from the first notes of the overture to the final tormented moments of Jesus Christ's death on the cross, the shared vision of the two men is vividly portrayed and stunningly realized. The work, widely considered the first "rock opera," is movingly exhilarating, taking audiences on a veritable rollercoaster ride of emotional highs and lows.
