When will Stranger Things Season 5 be released? What are the latest updates of the series?
Nobody could deny the fact that all those who have a subscription to the streaming giant Netflix must have seen the series which is titled Stranger Things and not only one or two I am sure that if you have watched the first season you must have watched all the successor seasons of it.
And now we all are eagerly waiting for its fifth installment and you must have so much excitement in your hearts to know each in every detail about it.
But there is bad news also associated with the coming of season 1 as the makers of the series also confirm that this season of stranger things is going to be the finale for the Hawkins.

If you’ve been putting off watching the terrifically adventurous Brendan Fraser-led “The Mummy” again, now’s the time to prioritize it. The 1999 film is one of a bevy of movies leaving HBO Max in June, the full list of which you can read below.
Also leaving HBO and HBO Max this month is a bevy of Tyler Perry’s Madea movies, “Rounders,” “She’s All That” and “Real Steel.”
If you’re looking to prioritize some selections, “Presumed Innocent” is one of Harrison Ford’s most underrated films (featuring one of his best performances) and the Melissa McCarthy/Jason Bateman comedy “Identity Thief” is good for some solid laughs.

The 22-year-old North Bergen, New Jersey, rapper-singer 070 Shake, a.k.a. Danielle Balbuena, hit mainstream radar via Kanye West’s Wyoming sessions, functioning as fluid spirit animal/superego on Ye’s “Violent Crimes” and “Ghost Town,” and Pusha T’s “Santeria.” Born to a Dominican immigrant mom, Shake grew up on Lauryn Hill and My Chemical Romance. The flows come hard and soft, in English and Spanish, with verses suggesting a fierce, strong, proud, brave, spiritual being who’s also hungry, searching, scared, self-loathing, and self-destructive. Like plenty of humans, especially in their early twenties.

Tony Ayres and Andrea Denholm.
Friends for years, Tony Ayres and Andrea Denholm had long wanted to work together but did not have the opportunity – until now.
Denholm is joining Tony Ayres Productions (Tap) next week as head of development after finishing up tomorrow as a producer/partner at Princess Pictures.
Ayres tells If: “I was looking for a head of development and asked Andrea for her advice. Her advice was ‘hire me,’ which was music to my ears. She is great with talent and is one of the most impressive creative producers in the country. We have similar views on the shows we want to make.”
After a happy 10 years at Princess Pictures with the company’s founder Laura Waters, Denholm was up for a new challenge. “Tony is a superstar and a beautiful human being,” she says.

Andrea Denholm.
The restructure of Princess Pictures is nearing completion with the pending departures of producer/partner Andrea Denholm and MD Jenni Tosi.
Denholm finishes up this Friday after 10 years with the production company founded by Laura Waters in 2003.
Tosi, the former Film Victoria CEO who joined a year ago, will depart in mid-November after handing the reins to commercial director and partner Emma Fitzsimons.
These moves follow the exit earlier this year of producer/partner Paul Walton after seven years with Princess Pictures.
The final elements of the revamp are expected to entail an injection of fresh blood. Waters tells If: “These changes have happened organically. I’m quite buoyant about the future: there are exciting things ahead.”

Lonely Hearts: Sautet’s Elegant Final Film on Passionate Restraint
Winning Best Director as well as Best Actor for Michel Serrault at the 1995 Cesars, Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud would stand as the final film of director Claude Sautet. The achingly rendered central relationship makes for a curious case study in the deep emotional undercurrents exchanged between two people unable to properly communicate their actual feelings, and as is typical of many Sautet films, it’s a master class of finely attenuated performances. It was the second collaboration of Sautet and the beautiful Emmanuelle Beart (had he lived, she would have taken the muse role occupied by Romy Schneider in his earlier filmography), following 1991’s A Heart in Winter, a title many champion as the director’s masterpiece, and the one that tends to overshadow their second outing.

Suzy Benzinger, the costume designer of Blue Jasmine, chose iconic brands like Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Missoni to serve as visual shorthand of what the modern-day wealthy socialite wears, but it is the white Chanel jacket that follows Jasmine from the beginning of the movie to the end which tells its own tale of what is happening to its owner.
When we first see Jasmine (Cate Blanchett) she is flying first-class from New York to San Francisco to see her sister Ginger (Sally Hawkins). On the flight she dazzles a fellow passenger with the story of how she met her wealthy businessman husband Hal (Alec Baldwin). Or so she thinks. Right now Alexander Payne's new film Nebraska is making the festival rounds, but Paramount Vantage will send the black and white comedic drama to theaters in November. However, the director will next reunite with The Descendants distributor Fox Searchlight for a new project called The Judge's Will. Deadline reports Payne is currently in talks to direct the film from Conde Nast Entertainment, based on a piece from The New Yorker that was actually the last published work of writer Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, who also worked on some films like Le Divorce and A Room with a View with Ismael Merchant and James Ivory. Now Payne will direct (and produce through his Ad Hominem Enterprises) the story which follows the last days in a "chess game relationship" between an ailing Delhi judge and his beautiful younger Bombay wife. Each of them live their own lives independently despite living under the same roof,...

This insightful comedy about the hopelessness of love is every inch a ‘fashion film’, both in terms of narrative and thanks to costume designer Dayna Pink’s enviable parade of menswear trends and elegant suiting.
Crazy, Stupid, Love (directed by Glenn Ficara and John Requa) stars Steve Carell as Cal Weaver, a middle aged man who has forgotten how to be a man and Ryan Gosling as Jacob Palmer, a bar culture player who helps Cal regain his self respect. Clothes in the film are prioritised over the man. They denote what we wear reflects how we evolve. Or in the case of Cal during the very first scene, how we devolve and are generally the last to notice. As the opening cuts from one couple playing footsie to another,...

Glenn Close's publicists must have been working round the clock these last few months. A highly likely Best Actress Oscar contender for her performance in Albert Nobbs, Close has already received the San Sebastian International Film Festival's Donostia Lifetime Achievement Award and, a couple of days ago, the Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Career Achievement Award. Now comes the announcement that Close will be taking home another Career Achievement Award, this time at the Palm Springs International Film Festival's awards gala ceremony on January 7, 2012, at the Palm Springs Convention Center. In Albert Nobbs, Close plays a 19th-century Irishwoman who passes as a (strange-looking) man in order to eke out a living in those difficult times. In the past, the Academy has often shown a penchant for cross-dressing actors, e.g., Jack Lemmon in Some Like It Hot, Julie Andrews in Victor Victoria, Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie, John Lithgow The World According to Garp,...

HBO’s five part adaptation of Mildred Pierce starring Kate Winslet debuted 25th June on Sky Atlantic. A prevalent theme in the first episode is how domestic costume, specifically the housedress, can be read as a signal for sexual availability.
Mildred Pierce (Winslet) is abandoned by her husband at the start of the story and left to bring up her two daughters alone during America’s Great Depression. At present there is little cause for Mildred to choose anything other than rudimentary housedresses. As costumed by Ann Roth, Winslet wears three such dresses in total. One is calf length in brown floral crepe, belted with long slashed sleeves and high round neckline. It is reused several times. Perhaps in the strictest definition of the term this is not a housedress, yet the episode is keen on exploiting it as Mildred’s ‘go to’ piece. Correctly accessorised, the dress could suffice for almost any occasion.

What's the downside to digital special effects and 3D movies overtaking theaters? One, at least, is that fans may lose sight of actors like Anthony Hopkins.
At 72 years old, the Oscar winner says offers of work have slowed in recent years, and he finds roles in movies such as his current "The City of Your Final Destination," to be most enjoyable because films like it "are very quiet and internal."
That is not to say that Sir Anthony doesn't care to work with big action and special effects. He performed in recent horror tale "The Wolfman" and in the computer-animated "Beowulf."
But with big-budget movies like "Avatar" or "Clash of the Titans" dominating major studio releases -- movies in which the acting is done in front of greenscreens, and sets and stunts are digitally added into the films -- character-driven dramas such as "City of Your Final Destination" get less...

Thomas Lennon takes his comedy very seriously, even when it's painful. Take perhaps his most famous role, as Lt. Jim Dangle, the macho police officer -- with the trademark mustache, highlighted hair, and tiny, tiny tight shorts -- he plays on the comedy series Reno 911!, now entering its sixth season on Comedy Central. Lennon is also the creator, director, and writer of the show (with Robert Ben Garant) and came up with Dangle's costume -- a decision he has mixed feelings about. "Obviously, if I had known the show would go 88 episodes, I would have picked something else to wear," Lennon says. "I joke about it; but to be completely honest, it really, really, really hurts your balls. A lot." He pauses a moment, before adding in a perfect deadpan, "On the flip side, it's nice to know that I've traded my entire adult life to be a moderately amusing,...

Producer Ismail Merchant, who, along with James Ivory, brought such acclaimed literary adaptations as A Room with a View and Howards End to the screen, died Wednesday in London; he was 68. Reports on Merchant's death cited that he had been ill for some time and had undergone surgery for abdominal ulcers, and passed away at a London hospital surrounded by family and friends. Born in Bombay and educated both there and in New York, Merchant studied film at USC and early in his career produced and directed a number of acclaimed shorts. His film work brought him to the attention of New York's Asia Society, which commissioned him to make a documentary about Delhi. In India, he met American director James Ivory, and in 1961 the two embarked on a career together (both personally and professionally) that would result in more than 40 films; the first was The Householder (1963), based on the novel by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, who, as their longtime screenwriter, was effectively the third "partner" in Merchant-Ivory Films. Initially, Merchant-Ivory was formed with the charter of making English-language films in India for international release, and their films reflected the conflicts between Indian and British culture. In the early '70s, they tentatively explored new territory . specifically 1920s Hollywood . with The Wild Party, but wouldn't find success outside of India-based films until 1979's The Europeans, based on the Henry James novel, which marked their first major literary adaptation. Small but acclaimed films followed, including Jane Austen in Manhattan and Heat and Dust, but Merchant-Ivory made a name for itself in the mid-'80s with two Oscar-nominated films: 1984's The Bostonians, featuring an Academy Award-nominated performance by Vanessa Redgrave, and their breakout hit, 1985's A Room With a View, the sublime adaptation of E.M. Forster's novel. The film made a star of a young ingénue named Helena Bonham Carter, established Merchant-Ivory as the highbrow literary filmmakers, and received eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture (it won three). Taking on Forster again, Merchant-Ivory made the groundbreaking gay-themed drama Maurice in 1987 before unsuccessfully trying on modern-day Manhattan in Slaves of New York. After that film, Merchant-Ivory returned to classic literary adaptations including Mr. and Mrs. Bridge and two back-to-back Best Picture nominees, Howards End (eight Oscar nominations and three wins, including Best Actress for Emma Thompson) and The Remains of the Day (also eight nominations). Merchant's remaining films, from Jefferson in Paris (1995) to Le Divorce (2003) were relatively well-received, but never achieved the heights of his previous films. No further details regarding Merchant's death were forthcoming, and a statement was expected to be released later in the day. --Prepared by IMDb staff...

Naomi Watts is in discussions to step into Fox Searchlight's I Love Huckabee's, taking over for Gwyneth Paltrow, who has dropped out of the project. Watts will segue to the film after she wraps production on The Assassination of Richard Nixon with Sean Penn and Don Cheadle, which begins shooting next month. Huckabee's, written and directed by David O. Russell, also stars Mark Wahlberg, Jude Law, Jason Schwartzman, Lily Tomlin, Dustin Hoffman and Catherine Deneuve. The film marks the second project from which Paltrow has departed recently, having dropped out of Stratus Films' Happy Endings before being replaced by Jennifer Garner (HR 5/2). Both departures stem from her need to take time off to grieve the loss of her father, Bruce Paltrow, who died in October while the actress was in production on Ted and Sylvia. In the Huckabee's, Watts' character will find herself in a love triangle with Wahlberg and Law's characters. Watts, repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment and attorney Steve Warren, is shooting the indie feature Anymore. She next stars in Fox Searchlight's Le Divorce and Focus Features' 21 Grams.

Kate Hudson is in preliminary negotiations to star in Universal Pictures' Skeleton Key, with helmer Iain Softley directing. The project is aimed to go into production in the fall. Skeleton, described as The Ring meets The Sixth Sense, centers on a caretaker (Hudson) working with an elderly couple in their New Orleans home, which happens to have mysterious goings-on. Universal picked up the project as a spec script in the fall from screenwriter Ehren Kruger (The Ring) with Softley already attached (HR 10/22). Daniel Bobker is producing the project. Universal executive vp Holly Bario is overseeing with production president Scott Stuber. Hudson, repped by CAA, is in production on the Walt Disney Co.'s Raising Helen for director Garry Marshall. The actress, currently onscreen opposite Matthew McConaughey in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, next stars in Fox Searchlight's Le Divorce for director James Ivory.
Hollywood beauty Kate Hudson won't be winning prizes for patriotism anytime soon - she's sick of Americans. After three months filming Le Divorce in France, Kate admits she has developed a dislike for her countryfolk after running into Americans in Paris and London. She explains, "Sometimes I'll be walking down the street and I'll hear some American and I'll just go, 'Of course they hate us, of course they can't stand us. We're the most annoying, boisterous creatures in the world.' I mean we come in and we eat mounds of food, and we're like, 'Where's the ketchup for our French fries.' I'm like, 'Shut up.'"...
