So at last, a GBA version of the Love Hina series! Awesome, right? No, not really. Because of the fact that this game does just contains screenshots from the Anime in the story mode, instead of new material (or photos)! Let's start from the beginning, okay? First comes the classic intro, and then the menu screen with the classic Hinata Sou building in the background. Oh cool, that's new! But when you really start to play the game, you notice that the game is just made of screenshots from the Anime and the usual text! Pretty disappointing... And if you die, you will have to start over on your last saved state which also is pretty annoying.
It's usual for Sim-dates to have a lot of pictures in the story mode, but usually they use new pictures and voices instead of 'screenshots' from the Anime version... Don't take me wrong, this game is still pretty good, because you earn 'Totally new Photos' in the gallery mode, when you complete the story mode with one characters! And you can also play with a 'Chibi' styled Keitaro, once! This game is a pretty good choice for a Love Hina fan, (Mature Love Hina fan that is, since Sim-dates are usually made for adults) if you have "Fallen in love" with the familiar characters. But for a average gamer, there's plenty of other games much better than this. This game doesn't even have a soundtrack mode!
