A must see Thriller!!!!!!

WOW..... Finally Independent Film-making is taking itself to the next level. This thriller will have you with insomnia for days! It takes us to our deepest doubts and fears, and at the same time its "action scenes" doesn't place us in a rabbit hole.. This film has all the attributes necessary to keep you at the edge of your seat, without the need of cliché's or predictable patterns. Sevy's performance shows a dynamic character with a troubled personality but at the same time carries himself with a "suave/in control" style that makes it impossible to predict his next move. In conclusion, this is definitely an evolution from the "Blair Witch" craze late 90's , combining the artistic Japanese film-making style from "Ringu". Watch out! this may just be the beginning! Two thumbs up!

excellent horror flick

I'm not sure I've ever seen a horror flick like Branches. A strange, surreal mix of Eastern and Western horror elements. My family and I were at the edge of our seats. There are some very disturbing and graphic moments that take a while to erase from your mind. It was a dramatic chase across a vast "living" landscape. Not a typical monster movie, extremely eerie. A strong message about ecology. The visual effects were great, great story line, and effective acting by the cast. One thing is for sure it makes you think twice about going out to the woods. I hope to see more of these kind of horror movies, the kind you like to watch late at night, and that will keep you up for days.
