Excellent piece of plot working, i must say.

I am a teenager and enjoy the show quite much. The plot, though sometimes rather hard to follow, is very well made and i love the way parallel universes are portrayed. The acting is a bit sloppy, and some of the effects, creatures and script is a bit unbelievable, but all in all it is quite enjoyable.

The show is set in Werrinup, a west Australian town. It's main character, a young boy, and his friends, discover a portal to another dimension. they then experience all kinds of different worlds including one ruled by hippies, one full of funny inventions and technologies and strange fashions and one full of sand, water and rocks.

Intended for those younger audiences, 8-13, i as a 17 year old actually found this Australian television show quite entertaining.

The show focuses on a few kids adventuring through "The Paralax", doors to different worlds, actually its the same world...just different. Take for example Ben's World, a place like our own, then take Katherine's World, just like Ben's but much more strict, there's no walking on the grass in Katherine's World. Other worlds include Hippie, Techno and Forest Worlds.

The 1st series is now over in Australia, they are currently working on the 2nd.

A great show!

Entertaining and Interseting

The basis of this show is very interesting. The acting is a bit c-graded but the personalities of all the characters are very interesting, diverse and should be shown on more TV shows. This show is just open for many creative opportunities. It is based at a pre teen audience, even though i'm 15 I still think it's entertaining.

The similarities and very much diversity of the worlds, "Ben's(our) world", "Kathrine's strict, formal world", "Hippie world", "Techno world".etc. gives you many ideas of how different the world could have been if past events and attitudes were different

I also like the parallel "personalities' in each world too,For example: a cool person in one world, could be a complete nerd in another.

I just hope they air a season two because it is an interesting and addictive show, it has a lot of potential(i can also see it improving here and there), if it can just get it's viewers, I know there are quiet a few viewers but it's needs more, because I know this is a show that goes into a paranormal subject, that has gotten a the attention it deserves, only a very few other shows have been in the "parallel universe" genre before.

I know it aired on ABC's(Australian Broardcasting Corporation) roller-coaster, every Tuesday(I can't remember the time), I don't know if its still shown on it or not. It also aired for about a month or two on the Disney channel Monday-Thursday 6:30pm(a very awkward and un-fair time slot if you ask me). Many people wouldn't of had a chance to actually see the show because it's is the same one as more popular prime time shows or the daily news is on at that time.

Its a fun show with a lot of adventure, exploring and discovering and humour in between.
