It begins with young Johnny running an errand for his mom. From Johnny's perspective, it seems like his mom is so focused on his baby sister, Caroline, that Johnny is clearly second fiddle. The errand takes Johnny to the subject of his fantasies, Stepanie, the beautiful bakery worker. Johnny's troubles start on the way home. Just when it seems like it's all going downhill for Johnny, he bounces back and proves that kids are quite resilient, especially in matters of the heart.
