It all begins with a space alien being pulled over by a cop. As the guy(?) has no license, he's taken to jail. Why the alien was driving a car around town, I have no idea, but his alien friends are mad. It seems that the state dislikes illegal aliens, so the other worldly guys go out campaigning for Schwarzenegger. They seem to think that since he was in a sci-fi film (THE TERMINATOR), he'll help the aliens and let their friend out of jail. But, after working hard to elect the man, they feel betrayed when the Governator announces he is NOT in favor of a plan to give illegal aliens drivers licenses. So, in a final scene, you see them with a logical candidate for the job.
Okay, this is NOT a film that will likely be headlining at Cannes or winning an Oscar. However, despite some cheesy special effects and an overall current of silliness, the film is cute and worth a look as it makes fun of the Gray Davis recall vote several years ago in California.
