Amid the ongoing scene of what seems to be a fancy dress competition in Call of Duty games, developers have actually delivered something that the fans can appreciate. In fact, they are appreciating it. A recent entry of a mythic skin in CoDm has had fans bouncing off the walls. And it would be fair to say that it certainly is a visual treat.
CoD publisher Activision is making efforts to take over the mobile gaming arena. The mobile version of the popular military shooter is already a success and it’s getting better. Recently, the company released the mobile version of its battle royale title, Warzone Mobile, but the game has yet to walk the successful path that CoDm is on.

For many fans, Bruce Timm’s Dcau gave the most definitive version of Batman. Matt Reeves’ The Batman took inspiration from Timm’s dark and gritty tone of the character in Batman: The Animated Series. Timm proved that he could develop feature-length animated movies, debuting with the Batman movie, Mask of the Phantasm. However, Timm never once got the call from DC or WB to create a live-action Batman film.

When Christopher Nolan Revealed That Tom Hardy Based His Menacing ‘Bane’ On The Dark Knight Rises Maker ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
People wait eagerly for any and every Christopher Nolan movie, and his Batman movies starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne are still considered one of the best comic book films ever. It gave us the classic villain in Heath Ledger’s Joker, and Tom Hardy as Bane was also quite memorable. Hardy did an exceptional job as the anti-hero in The Dark Knight Rises. But did you know it was the film’s director on whom Hardy based his menacing character?
It was the last movie in Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy and came out around four years after the release of 2008’s The Dark Knight. The movie had an ensemble cast of Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman, besides Bale and Hardy.

Remember 2006? That was the year that High School Musical came out, and so did Lance Bass. The very first tweet was tweeted, and Miley Cyrus was just some actress on a new Disney Channel show.
In this strange and innocent time, NBC dropped a (then) totally unique pilot into its mix of programming. It was a superhero show – but one without any recognizable names, like Superman or Batman. It was an ensemble show, but it was also high-budget. And, two years before The Dark Knight declared superheroes to be serious business, it challenged the audience to really think about what it might mean if average, ordinary people developed superhuman abilities.
The show, of course, was Heroes.

Prime Video’s Fallout is proof that if the creator is familiar with the source material, then worlds from games can be wonderfully translated into other mediums. As difficult as that may seem to grasp for many directors, Jonah Nolan rose up to the task and created something that not only stays faithful to the games and their fanbase but also welcomes newcomers into the iconic dystopia.
To pull that off, Nolan took a different approach than the one other shared universes are taking nowadays, and it’s turning out to be effective.

After the success of the adaptation, executive producers Jonah Nolan and Todd Howard discussed the first season in detail and how various aspects from the Fallout franchise were handled during its production.

David Dastmalchian was raised in a religious household where “everything was ‘the Devil’s work’” and he was constantly told not to open myself up to anything evil that could come in. “Fast-forward to me as a grown-up and I’m telling my wife not to order a cursed Ouija board off the Internet,” the actor notes. He’s also hosted seances, been published in “Fangoria,” penned the graphic novel series “Count Crowley: Reluctant Midnight Monster Hunter” for Dark Horse Comics and served as the brand ambassador for a line of caskets.
And, of course, starred in the hottest horror movie of the year as the lead in “Late Night With the Devil.” The indie feature from brothers Cameron and Colin Cairns was released by IFC in theaters, where it’s already made a robust $10 million. And as of today, it’s available to stream on the horror network Shudder.

According to Zack Snyder, one of the most significant Dceu storylines seems to have originated from none other than Oscar-winning star Leonardo DiCaprio. The 49-year-old actor was once considered for the role of Lex Luthor, Superman’s greatest enemy. In an exclusive interview with Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the director disclosed that he had a meeting with the Titanic star to discuss the role in his 2016 superhero flick, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
However, Jesse Eisenberg ultimately won the role. Snyder also recalled that DiCaprio came up with the plan to pit Henry Cavill’s Superman against the Justice League. Sadly, the Dceu timeline came to an end in 2023 (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom), capping ten years of superhero films that started with Snyder’s Man of Steel (2013).

What Kevin Conroy was for Batman, Tim Daly was for Superman, who voiced the character in the ’90s Superman: The Animated Series. While the show itself isn’t as fondly remembered as Batman: The Animated Series, whose success paved the way for the show on the first hand, Daly did hit it out of the park with his performance as Clark Kent.
However, the acclaimed voice artist didn’t connect with Superman from the get-go, as it wasn’t until his later years that saw him developed a keen understanding of the character. But following the current landscape of superheroes, the Wings Star expressed his desire to get back to playing the Clark again, stressing the entertainment industry has gravitated way towards darkness.

For many actors, using grief to their advantage on screen is a well-trod path; however, pretending to be grieving is a whole other story. Method acting has long been seen as a demanding and occasionally contentious way of producing real performances on screen. However, revelations about Aaron Eckhart’s extreme methods to get into character for his role in 2010’s Rabbit Hole have caused a few to gasp and sparked a fresh discussion about the limits of method acting.
The actor attended a support group for parents who had lost their child and even staged his own child’s death in order to prepare for his role. Well, in the past, we’ve heard stories of actors going to great lengths to immerse themselves in their roles, from drastic weight loss to being cut off from the outside world.
But Jared Leto’s tale was nothing short of a nightmare.

Joaquin Phoenix is set to return as the Joker in the upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux and fans are excited about the exciting direction that the film is going to take. The first Joker film back in 2019 showed the character’s mental deterioration amidst a crime-ridden Gotham City and the sequel is set to further explore this aspect along with Harley Quinn thrown in the mix.

Before Phoenix, Heath Ledger played the iconic character in The Dark Knight. Amazingly, both actors won Oscars for playing the same role, and Ledger’s co-star in the film Aaron Eckhart had an interesting take on why audiences are connecting to the character and the actors’ performances.

Leonardo DiCaprio may keep his distance from the superhero genre today, but he was the studios’ favorite in playing some crucial Cbm characters. At the start of his career, he was offered the role of Robin in Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever. During the Dark Knight trilogy, Warner Bros. wanted Christopher Nolan to make The Riddler as the central villain in the third film. They wanted Nolan to bring DiCaprio on board the film for the same.
WB wanted Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio in a role in The Dark Knight Rises
However, Nolan didn’t concede to the demands of the studio and insisted that he worked with a villain that suited the story. Nolan later worked with DiCaprio in Inception, which remains the actor’s highest-paying gig to date.

This article contains major spoilers for Civil War (2024)
From the vastly untapped and underrated vision of Alex Garland comes yet another Oscar-winning project. Civil War stands out as an exceptionally well-drawn-out feature that presents itself as a thesis on the modern world, its ghastly conflicts, and the ultimate breakdown of social order. But through the mind-bending craft of actors like Jesse Plemons, the conflict finds a mouthpiece. Plemons not only acts his part but embodies the evil that permeates throughout the storyline.

It’s been almost half a century since superheros from the Marvel and DC Comics started to gain popularity in the entertainment industry, as Superman and Batman became some of the first to attain mainstream attention.
While several iterations of the superhero exist in different forms of entertainment today, many consider Christian Bale’s performance as the titular protagonist in The Dark Knight trilogy to be a classic.

Coming off the success of The Dark Knight trilogy, WB wanted to take a similar route for Superman, leading them to bring Zack Snyder on board for 2013’s Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill. But considering, unlike Batman, Superman is a bright and optimistic character, making him dark and brooding didn’t land well among fans, and with Bvs, these issues only aggravated.
While the Dceu might’ve gotten more wrongs than rights regarding the beloved heroes, it did excel in the costume department, especially with Superman, which inspired Black Panther’s iconic suit.

During its existence, the DC Extended Universe (Dceu) gave rise to some historic blunders. My personal favorite was when Dwayne Johnson simply refused to accept that his "Black Adam" movie wasn't very good, but the ill-fated shared universe has a plethora of greatest hits when it comes to cinematic slip-ups, from the box office disappointment that was "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" to the box office bomb of super-heroic proportions that was "The Flash."
Look, it's extremely difficult to build a shared cinematic universe. Aside from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the only action franchise that's really achieved anything of note in the last few years is the "John Wick" saga, and even that can't hope to match the historic highs of the MCU. So you can't really fault DC and Warner Bros. for failing to establish an enduring cinematic multiverse — though that hasn't stopped David Ayer from trying.

Video game developer Todd Howard has been looking forward to a cinematic adaptation of the game Fallout for over fifteen years. The developer reportedly thought of Jonathan Nolan after seeing his work on The Dark Knight and wished for him to adapt the beloved video game franchise to TV. His wish came true, as Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout recently began streaming.
Fallout is another video game adaptation that is getting positive reviews like last year’s Pedro Pascal starrer, The Last of Us. Howard mentioned that he loved The Last of Us as a game too, and had immediately thought how it would be as a movie. However, with Fallout, the team had to go in a different direction than the games as it was an open-world video game.

(Welcome to Tales from the Box Office, our column that examines box office miracles, disasters, and everything in between, as well as what we can learn from them.)
"Shrek" was a very important movie in animation history. It provided DreamWorks with its first true breakthrough hit, taking in $492 million in 2001. It ensured that Disney would have meaningful competition in the animation space for years to come, which has only been furthered in recent years with the dominance of Illumination in the marketplace. For DreamWorks though, it birthed what would become the studio's flagship franchise, one that has generated more than $3 billion since its inception. That franchise's biggest moment came in 2004 when "Shrek 2" hit theaters.
The animation house founded by former Disney executive Jeffrey Katzenberg hit a home run by pairing Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy as Shrek and Donkey in the first film, in no small part thanks to the stellar supporting cast.

Fallout is one of the most iconic franchises when it comes to showing a post-apocalyptic world. Every game in the series has dealt with the issue of a world-turned-wasteland due to the effects of a nuclear war. “We had these conversations,” Jonathan said. “Bane came out of a conversation with David [Goyer] and Chris. I was unsure about that at the story stage, but I [didn’t want it to be] back seat driving. He continued, “I started to play with the idea of the Riddler and what could be done with that character. But it...

The siblings share screenwriting credit on 2008’s “The Dark Knight” and 2012’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” Jonathan admitted that he was pushing for the Riddler to be the primary villain of “Rises” and not Bane, which is what Christopher and David S. Goyer were planning. Goyer co-wrote “Batman Begins” and worked on the stories for the two sequels.

Considering Pattinson’s acting credits from his earlier films, this portrayal appears to be difficult to pull off. As if we needed another reason to love Twilight fame, the skilled actor has once again proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the movie business.
