Title Gives It Away
boblipton10 June 2020
William Hinckey and Joseph Singleton own a fishing boat in a small seaside village.Hinckley is married to Adoni Fovieri, whom Singleton also loves. When a storm at sea arises, Singleton is the survivor swept back to shore. He tells the villagers that everyone else is dead. Three years later, and he Miss Fovieri are wed.

With a title like that, what can the lie be? I think it's obvious, although perhaps the impact of the film lies more in the beautiful photography of the shore and the reactions of the characters to the lie.
