This is the only Season to feature STAR SEARCH winner Countess Vaughn as the insufferable Alexandria and this episode is the weakest of the three 227 Xmas offerings. The plot line of Santa stealing presents had been done before and would be done again in many other shows.
The funniest parts are when Alexandria is referred to as Ebeneezer Scroogette and Mary says they are gonna "turn her onto Xmas even if we have to ram it down her precocious little throat".
The most notable aspect of this one is that Bad Santa is played by a pre-FAMILY MATTERS Reginald Veljohnson. The cop who comes to Mary's apartment is played by Greg Kean, who will be recognizable to DESIGNING WOMEN fans as Carlene's crossdressing boyfriend Eric.
