Nick Slater is assigned to his first undercover role, as muscle for hard man, and known dealer, Guy Walsh.
What a great episode this was, I've been a little critical of Nick's sudden transformation from wet behind the ears rookie to undercover powerhouse, but this episode has won me over.
I loved the intensity of it, much faster in terms of pace, and very gritty, it did not feel like a typical episode of the show, it was very different.
I am a big fan of Andrew Tiernan, and here he gives one of the best guest appearances on the show that I can think of. Walsh was an out and out monster, the scene with the little boy was harrowing.
I liked that there was no Sun Hill, and no regulars, Nick single handed, was great.
My only issue, would Nick be operating on his own patch? It seems unlikely.
Despite the minor flaw, it was a great watch, 9/10.
