A new friendship is born
salhy-4088217 December 2019
Shawn and Angela breaking up was quite predictable to me, not that I enjoyed it or anything, I still want to see them together for sure, like badly. But college is a new world and you want to explore it and be in a relationship just makes you opportunities to meet new people, as Shawn quoted it, well less widened. They got together in senior year and in highschool relationship seems less complicated, less burden. Breaking up is the better way to realize if you gonna miss the other or not and be able to handle see the other with somebody else. Here Angela is the broken one knowing that Shawn is the one who kind of break up without actually knowing it. But I could bet my car that he's gonna regret it so quickly (maybe even already) and he's gonna be craving for her so hard and pretty soon. He still needs to find out who he is and what he really wants in life, knowing he drops his job to go to college but doesn't know what he exactly want to be and where neither how and Angela understood it right away and that's why she didn't attempt to hold him "I don't want to stop him looking for who he is just because he feels sorry for me" what a selfless way to think and act, that's impressive. She's not trying to hide about how much that break up is affecting her by pride or ego towards him but actually to let him his space and freedom to find what he actually wants for the future without her restraining him in that path. She really deeply loves him and in one of the purest, deepest and selfless way I ever witness. That's gonna be really interesting to see how they're gonna manage the after but the fact they agreed of not letting anything affects their friendship prove their maturity and the deep love and respect they feel for each other. But again, I could bet anything he's gonna regret it really quickly and his attempt with that girl shows us he's back to be his old self... or so he thinks. I mean he was a serial dater until he met Angela and was bit by the love bug. I think part of him is scared of how deep his feelings for her went and he's gonna try to go back to the familiar and be 'serial dater Shawn' again (already started with that Cameron girl) because he was good at/used to that. What he doesn't realize know is that he has been going out with Angela for an entire year, that she changed him and the way he viewed relationships and reciprocally. He can't just be the no strings attached guy anymore, not after he got a taste of what love was supposed to feel like. That reality is gonna hit him so hard and fast, the poor kiddo is so not ready but I'm thrilled to see that and see how the show is gonna set it up, I can't wait for it. Also, he was really cute to see Cory shipping them so loudly and been so preocuped and protective over Angela, it's heartwarming to see him really been concerned as a friend because of her and not feeling kind of obligate to bound with her just because she was Shawn's girlfriend. "I thought you were scared to death to this place" "I'm more scared of losing you" god Cory knows how to touch me when he wants to. The bathroom scene was so touching, intense and demonstrated damn well how much they really care to each other even if they didn't had that much opportunities to show it to each other but for now on, for sure they're gonna make that relationship evolved in a higher level. I don't why, I don't know how she manages that but whenever they interacted I just freaking love Cory and the way is acting, she just manage without even trying to to only bring his funny, sensitive, and caring sides out of him. Cory can be really annoying sometimes but when it comes to Angela, he's just freaking lovable. I love them together, they just got such chemistry and vibes that make you toot for their friendship and I really hope that for now one we gonna see them having more scenes together.
