Interesting episode, in this one we're seeing the first parental problems between John and Shawn. As always, it was well done executive and totally relatable. In one side we got a adult, in his thirties I suppose, without any commitment, used to have his privacy and no responsibilities or authority upon anybody and in other hand a 15 years old boy sensibly lost without any clue where does he belong, thinking that it doesn't fit anywhere and that whatever place he's gonna go that would always be temporary. And fear of been left behind at any moment as his parents did to him. The bond between John and Shawn is really interesting to follow : each one of them have to make adjustments to make it works and it's not easy... as uneasy as any relationship between a parent and a kid and with both of them having no clue of how acting or sorting things out, it's gonna be really pleasant to see them evolving and learning to be able to come along with the time. Little detail : the fact that Shawn took really bad the fact John lied to him as if it made him feel as a burden even more that he probably felt daily, as he should think he is for his parents and that would have be the main reason of them taking off without him. He's so young and yet so scarred by the fact of being left out, I think that's could be interesting to light it up with him being in a real relationship. I really hope it will happen later on the show, I wanna see him falling for someone and see how he'll manage that.
