Personal and personality

Warning: Spoilers
I grew up on The Brady Bunch, and it's a testament to its endurance and popularity that it's so popular to this very day, and it's hard to believe The Brady Bunch debuted pretty much after the Summer of '69, so that's 55 years ago init. Anyway, we can relate to Peter wanting to get a personality, and we want him to succeed. In this day and age, Peter would have gone through a battery of tests for a diagnosis, and who knows what would have become of Peter. Monika Ramirez guest stars as Kyle, and Margie DeMeyer guest stars as Judy. Anyway, I love reflecting on The Brady Bunch and it certainly lives on.

Pork chops and apple sauce

Warning: Spoilers
Peter tries to develop a new personality, after being told that he hasn't got one. Curiously, we never see the person (or persons) who made this remark to Peter. It would have been more interesting to have seen the source of the insult, and determine how qualified that person was to criticize someone else. In any case, Peter tries impersonations, and winds up telling corny jokes, in the attempt to find his personality. I absolutely love the scene where Marcia is sitting with Kathy Lawrence, and they encourage him to tell his jokes. The mini skirts are nice, but what's missing is the scene which would explain how Marcia and Kathy became friends. In the episode directly before this one, Kathy was Marcia's arch enemy. Well, despite this lapse in logic, I enjoyed the mini skirts. Another nice scene was the party, when all the girls (more mini skirts) gathered around Peter. I liked the first girl (Monica Ramirez), who told Peter that she thought he was nice. This was sweet! She was nice, and it would have been interesting to see something develop between Peter and this girl. All in all, a pretty good Brady Bunch episode.

Peter Thinks He's Dull

Peter is down in the dumps when someone tells him he is dull, he tries to come up with an new personality.

One of the best Season 3 episodes. Peter gets some of the better stories and this is a very good one. Funniest scenes are when he watches old movies and tries to imitate the actors. First tries an English accent and then Humphrey Bogart, using the now classic line "pork chops and applesauce". He finally starts telling jokes from a book and tries it at a party. It doesn't work out how he expected but Peter suddenly notices that he likes girls. A sub plot has Bobby and Cindy trying fire drills at home.
