A bus careens off a highway because of bad bolts and the result could be chloroform placed in the tire as a means to cause a flat and get the company in trouble. Nine people dead, it'll be up to CSI to find out who and why. A hand print on a rear tire(the person who caused the accident has to use the tire to rear himself up)and a gage which can detect chloroform might just be used to find the one responsible. This episode opens with quite a wallop, introducing us to the passengers as they discuss their lives and future plans, only for a freak bus accident to kill nine of them. This also shows DNA analyst Greg's first time in the field and how it will sow the seed for his upcoming future as a member of the CSI team. There's also a young medical doctor from LA in a Camaro who wanted his girlfriend to come home with him investigated(his car was toppled by the bus). Intriguing look as how saving a few bucks on bolts and retribution of being fired over smoking a joint can lead to such devastating tragedy.

A Bus to Hell

This is an episode where all hands are on deck. A bus crashes and the passengers are either killed or badly injured. Because of the breadth of the accident scene, it takes as many CSI's as possible to investigate. The bus itself turns out to be the source of the evidence, leading to some basically human causes. We see Greg at a crime scene for the first time and the results are mixed. The solution is interesting to say the least. My only doubt would be the gang's ability to come to the conclusion they did. It is still quite entertaining.
The Bus to Las Vegas

When the bus with tourists heading to Las Vegas has a flat tire, the driver is unable to control it and the bus fall off a cliff on the road with a Camaro. All the CSI teams come to the location to investigate the accident and the casualties under the command of Grissom. Soon they learn from the debris that the bolts that holds the suspension of the bus are sheared and they look for the fleet owner. They learn that he changed the supplier of the bolts for price reason and they are forged with a different grade of steel. But they find also that the main reason of the accident is the blow up of a tire, and they learn the reason why.
"Chasing the Bus" is another good episode of "CSI", with very technical explanations, such as grade of material or Newton Laws. The resolution of the CSI team is great, deducing what has happened to the bus full of tourists and the Camaro's driver. My vote is seven.
