What an interesting story. The tale of a young man - Robert Blake - who refuses to visit his father - Ted de Corsia - on his dying bed because the old man is a gangster. But the gangster's brother - Ricardo Montalban - will stop at nothing to bring his nephew to the teen's father's bed at the hospital. Nothing. Blake's character argues about the fact that his father was corrupted. So Montalban will ask the young man something to prove him that ANY BODY can be bought, even his own best friend - Keir Dullea - a famous basketball player. So, to prove Blake that anyone can be bought, corrupted, Montalban proposes Blake to test Dullea. A meeting is organized between the three and Montalban offers twenty five thousand dollars to fix the next basketball game. To prove Blake that his own friend - Dullea - can as rotten as Blake's father...But the police is not far from there. See?

A powerful drama, pulled by a terrific characterization. A real must see. The main character - the recurrent one of the series - has not a real lead position here, like in the other episodes. But who cares?
