Heather Locklear does it again!
RavenGlamDVDCollector27 July 2016
Look, story-wise I've given up on this one. It's down there at the bottom of the barrel. It's been that way since even before the Moldavian massacre. But glam-wise, we have Catherine Oxenberg and Heather Locklear, and I'm glued to the screen whenever those two appear. Believe me, there is no other reason to watch. This Linda Evans in a dual role is too much to take, nobody is that good a carbon copy of somebody else unless you're bona fide twins, and Rita was surgically altered only facially. We're expected to believe Rita was Krystal exact physical doppelganger below the neck as well? Stretches credibility a bit, huh? Fallon is now off to THE COLBYS, after all that drama, this is just accepted, no comment about regaining a daughter they believed to be dead. One would expect Blake and Alexis and Steven to be ecstatic about that, but, no, that is not DYNASTY matters anymore, that is the spin-off's characters now, we're gonna stick to our own territory. Damn the viewers!

And the fashions! Alexis appears as a be-deviled version of The Cat In The Hat? That blood-red thing she is wrapped in, you need sunglasses! Wouldn't want to be chased by THAT all around the house!

Fortunately, or unfortunately if you think about it, the show has those two drop dead gorgeous starlets, keeping me buying the DVDs. I keep score between the two every* week, and while Catherine has European grace and style, and looks like a porcelain doll, Heather Locklear represents the wild, impetuous America. One thing bothers me, it's bloody laughable, but at the time, her involvement with the group Motley Crue caused them to copy her style, and thus gave birth (or was a further injection) to the glam rock look, and that, with hindsight, kinda detracts from the sheer beauty of the original. But, wow, she is stunning, like a wild animal (almost!) at times. Certainly the way she tore into Steven was Sammy Jo at her best. Congratulations to Heather Locklear, a truly stunning performance once again!

*Heather wasn't there in the previous episode, and was a bit off in the foregoing ones, but sure makes up for that in this one!
