Dang!! Hawaii is a horribly unsafe place according to this episode!

While this is a pretty good episode, I also think it's a bit silly. After all, if Hawaii was really this gangster-ridden, it would make Somalia or Haiti seem like paradise! After all, we learn for the first time that there are four ethnic gangs--some of which are extremely racist. There are the Chinese, Japanese, Samoan (Samoan!?) and Korean gangs--and one of them appears to be behind the killing of a mafia muscle-man who is on the islands! Yikes! And all this takes place only on the island of Oahu!! Despite the silliness of all these mobs running the island, the show is pretty cool. There are a lot of nice twists and turns and the ending works pretty well. The only real negative (other than so many gangs) is that the wonderful Jewish character actor David Opatashu plays the leader of a Chinese gang!! And, despite this being ridiculous, this is the SECOND time he played a Chinese man!! Couldn't they have gotten someone who at least looked Asian?! Keye Luke might have made a great gang leader!
