Jack Weston looks like he's having a great old time playing an absolutely bonkers individual who fancies himself a reincarnated Roman Emperor and is setting up his empire. He just kidnaps people he needs and kills anyone else around.
Our four Rangers get themselves kidnapped under different circumstances and work to overthrow the tyrant who takes Nero as a role model.
Although Weston is having a ball in the part for me he's so absolutely crazy that I could never picture him gathering a bunch of outlaws who serve as his Praetorian guard. Even Sid Haig who serves as Sejanus to Weston's Tiberius and has played a few crazies on the screen in his days I could never see joining up and staying with him.
Looks like the writers reached for a bit too much here.
