This episode made me think a lot about the relationships that journalists develop with each other and with the politicians and celebrities they cover. The scenes on the bus along the campaign trail were fun to watch and seemed rather realistic. The guest stars were great, especially Eileen Heckart and Jonathan Hillerman (right before his long-running role on Magnum P.I.). By the way, Heckart previously played her character from this story in a few episodes of the parent series, The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Ed Nelson also appears as a congressional hopeful, and he's not bad either. I think what I most like about the episode is that we go on a journey with Billie and we see that her youth and inexperience actually makes her a better, unbiased reporter. It's refreshing.
