This is a slightly different episode for 'Lou Grant.' There's an extended sequence that takes place in the reporter's apartment as she is being attacked. But we also get to see a lot of activity occurring in the homes of the other characters. For example, Rossi brings the young woman to his place to stay with him after the rape. And later he goes over to Lou's house to talk about how he feels he let her down. Plus we have some domestic scenes with Art and the new woman in his life, where they deal with the time when she was attacked. This episode is very interesting in how there are several stories going on at once, with the newspaper office as the center point, but then there are reverberations that follow the characters into their homes and then back into the office again. Overall, it's a very thought-provoking and well-produced show.
