So many great things to say about this episode...Billie's relationship with former ball player Ted McCovey (whom she met while doing a story during the 4th season of Lou Grant) hits an emotional high point. But before they get to say 'I do,' there are a few conflicts that must be resolved. Lou is also having his own dilemmas related to seeing his three daughters again. It seems that his career is always taking precedence over family, something Billie knows all too well. There are a lot of cute, funny scenes in this episode. We have Rossi worrying about how Billie will change after she's begun married life. Also, Billie explains to Lou why she doesn't laugh (there's a great moment at the airport when she goes to see Ted off and after they nearly stumble and fall, she bursts out laughing). But the wedding scenes are truly the best part of the episode. They've all been at the Trib till the wee hours of the morning dealing with a computer crash and are nearly falling asleep during the ceremony. Everyone that is, except Billie, who joyously weds Ted and leaves on her honeymoon.
