Maude awaits the results of her election after making a controversial statement.
A good ending to the five part story. It begins with Maude getting up early as soon as the polls open. We see a TV interview she does with Sen Bob by her side. She comes out in favor of pre marital sex while Bob cringes. There are some laughs when we go to the polling booth with an outspoken elderly lady (Judith Lowry) working there. There is a funny scene at the campaign party where no one is there, everybody thinking Maude lost. Then we find out there is a surge in the polls which gives Maude confidence. We later find out Maude lost but by a small margin. We find out at the end why it was so close.
