This band was so good. It reminds me of freshman year of HS. But their songs also do more of Dawson's Creek than Melrose Place, somehow... The second half of season 7 is more than just sleeping around. The intrigues are more enticing, and the drama became a little more realistic. With better writing, and acting even. True there are still those actors who think they are Marlon Brando, but thankfully for them, they have co-stars who know how to sell it. Among all those characters I hate, I think nothing could be worse than that ratchet « nurse ». A social climber at its vilest. And she single handily managed to ruin Michael and Jane's last chance. She's garbage. But I guess it just wasn't meant to be... And he sets his sights on Megan again, anyway. I always prefer Ryan and Lexi, there. He's her ideal man, after all. Only I don't really picture her as a step mother... Other couples suffered through this bundle of episodes. Kyle and Amanda were and still are between a rock and hard place. Even if they reconciled with a Sarah McLachlan song, on the previous episode. And Peter and Eve's marriage slowly falls apart. You even have her good friend Jackie, to add to injuries. There are more storylines and musical guests to come, but you really feel writers were eager to put an end to Melrose Place, when we see Amanda hanging the « for sale » sign, before the screen turns black. So let's enjoy it while it lasts.
