Excellentl; a classic IMF adventure
shakspryn5 July 2017
How's this for timely and topical: the premise of the episode is that a hostile nation has launched a satellite armed with nuclear warheads, with the implication of nuclear blackmail. The mission of the IMF is of course to eliminate this dreadful threat. I hope we have people this good working for us in real life!

This is an exciting episode, made more complex in the way that IMF missions often are, by unexpected events that compel our team to improvise on the fly. This is one of the episodes in which a handsome, young Sam Elliott takes the place usually occupied by Willy on the team. The pacing is swift and easily holds the viewer's interest. I like it that we are dealing with international affairs of great importance here--the highest possible importance. The over-emphasis on fighting organized crime in the last two seasons was a poor decision by whoever was responsible. This high-stakes espionage was the show's strong suit. Three (or more!) guest stars will be familiar to fans.
