Maybe the government should have used this plan in order to catch Noriega!

Colonel Gregory Usher is a monster. He's taken over his country and turned it into one of the biggest drug producers on the planet...all to make himself incredibly wealthy. The US wants to extradite him...but how, considering he's the president for life! And, while it's no mentioned in the show, US law forbids assassinations of heads of state (probably out of fear of retaliation). So, the IM team must get him outside the territorial boundaries of his country...but how?

To make their plan work, the team get the Colonel to have excruciating headaches and then cause him to see things...a son who may or may not actually exist. It seems that this monster was married but his wife ran away long ago...and she COULD have been pregnant with the Colonel's baby...maybe! Phelps appears as a man who is a world famous neurologist and the plan is for him to diagnose the Colonel AND 'accidentally' have the Colonel find out he's visiting a nearby island (outside his country) to treat the son with the same weird affliction.

It's very interesting that this came out in 1988...just a year before the US invaded Panama in order to arrest Manuel Noriega for the same sorts of drug crimes. In hindsight, the IM plan would have been a heck of a lot cheaper...and more fun!! Overall, a very interesting and amusing episode...one well worth your time.
