Grandpa At The Strip Club
ccthemovieman-115 April 2007
Grandpa Leaves Home Herman is peacefully reading a book, getting a lot of laughs out of "Murders in the Rue Morgue," when Grandpa comes by, opens the window, cracks his knuckles, wrinkles the newspaper loudly Herman gets annoyed. Who can blame him? Then Lily comes by and shuts the window. An argument ensues with Herman and Grandpa and now the moody senior citizen is issuing a "nobody cares about the broken down old man speech" again, and says he's going to leave the house for good.

He follows through on the threat, but not before giving Eddie his sob story and making sure Eddie will say the same thing to Herman and Lily to lay a big guilt trip on them. Herman thinks its "a big bluff." When he does leave, they don't show the reaction he was hoping for but when he does leave, Herman goes out at night to look for him. Of course, he scares everyone who sees him. For example, one guy jumps into the hood of his car.

It becomes a family affair the next day with the whole family, and the police, out looking for the old man. However, that isn't needed as Eddie discovers where he is while spotting his picture in the newspaper. It seems Grandpa is back to his old "tricks."

A so-so episode that picks up when Herman and Lily visit a strip club where Grandpa is performing (magic tricks).

Note: This was Pat Priest's debut as "Marilyn." Priest, however, is only in the final minute and has no lines.
