This was a memorable episode in which Grandpa turns into a wolf, is captured, and has to be bailed out by the family. To be honest, it wasn't as good as I had remembered it. It all starts when Eddie comes home from school and begs his dad to him on a camping trip for the weekend, since many of his classmates are doing the same. Herman says okay and he, Lily and Grandpa head out for the woods despite the idea of fresh air. Herman is dressed like "Fred R. Turbo," a character Johnny Carson used to do on The Tonight Show.
It doesn't get funny until Herman starts fishing. Then it gets better when the wolves start howling and Grandpa gets lonely for his "old friends." The next morning, the old wolf has disappeared. On the radio, Eddie hears that "local forest rangers have a captured a full- grown wolf....."
It was okay, but the episode wasn't a howl anymore.
