Thinking he made some great land purchase, Herman - who never was confused with Albert Einstein - finds out the 10 acres he bought through a magazine add is nothing but a broken down old "ghost town." Actually, while most families would be upset and demand their money back, this kind of town is just the ticket for the Munsters. They are delighted with it, but the crooks who sold it too them want their money back because they got a better offer for it later. Too bad, chumps!
The fun comes in at the end when the "bad guys" dress up in Halloween costumes trying to scare the Munsters out of Happy Valley, but have the reverse happen to them when "Billy" shows up!
The real estate crooks are played by two guys were very familiar faces to those who watched television from the '50s through the '80s: John Hoyt and Richard Reeves. Sadly, Reeves died a couple of years after playing this TV role.
