Watch Out What You Steal

Warning: Spoilers
The episode begins with a black-ops kind of group attacking a truck they believe to have "stingers" or weapons. After killing the drivers, they break into the truck. What they find is a cryogenic case of unknown origin. Even though they are warned to leave it alone (it is extremely dangerous) they feel that if they can break through it's casing, they will find some kind of weapon. Their leader, a loose cannon mercenary, takes over the operation and ignores everyone. He is determined to get his way. Eventually, the case is broken and out comes a species that has been captured and contained. Their method, to seek out anything projecting heat and freezing it. That includes the bodies of the mercenaries. They become statues of icy tissue and crumble. The story now rest on the survivors trying to figure a way out of the installation and to find a way to stop these things. It's a rocky road because the big-shot boss is having none of this. He feels a few well placed rounds will disable them. Of course, it's not that simple. By the way, the creatures are pretty sadly portrayed.

A pretty interesting episode
ashgameover10 September 2011
I actually really liked the plot of this episode of The Outer Limits. The acting was also decent, especially 2 of my favorites Jasmine Guy and Costas Mandylor. That being said, the acting was believable on all accounts and the cast as well as the casting director did an excellent job. The only thing this episode was really lacking in was special effects. I have seen worse special effects and some of them were actually decent, but the heat map imaging wasn't what it should be. There were a couple of things that went unexplained but overall it held my attention throughout the episode. I would watch this episode again, and it does make me curious to check out more of what this series has to offer. If you are a fan of sci-fi, military themed conspiracy media, or any of the actors in the episode then I would recommend checking out this episode.

One of the COOLEST Episodes Ever

Warning: Spoilers
Especially considering the characters you love to hate end up stiff in the end.

Nothing like a mercenary with a cause.

Interesting take on alien life form that was part of an organic ship that crash landed in New Mexico. Sounds like "Little green Men".

This one is worth the time but I would not pay extra to watch it.
