Jerry tries to do as the older kids do.

Simliar to the episode in season 2 where Mikey ditches Parker and Jerry this episode sees Parker and Mikey off alone and Jerry hangs with a different crew. The older Brad Penny brings Jerry in to hang out with his group where they feed him beer and involve him in their 'crazy shenanigans'. The upsides to the episode are watching Jerry get drunk as he probably tears through a beer or two :P . I'm always fond of the episodes that have real high-school issues in them and fonder of the funny ones (although they usually aren't funny when they happen to you). The downside to this episode is probably the side story with Parker and Mikey out on their dinner date. Maybe it's the unrealistic part of 2 broke high-schoolers taking their dates out to a super high class restaurant or the boring progression that follows. Lastly I'll point out that this episode shows light at the end of the tunnel. It's mentioned a couple of times that the gang is wrapping up their summer and that means the school year is right around the corner.

Jerry did a bad, bad thing

Warning: Spoilers
Jerry Steiner decides to venture out when his best buds, Parker and Mikey are out on a date at an exclusive restaurant where Kubiac is treated like a rock star, but alas Parker and Co are alienated in a bad table with bad service. Jerry is played by Troy Slaten, who became a prominent L. A. lawyer who has appeared on current affairs programs. Anyway, here Jerry mixes with the in-crowd led by bad by Brad Penny. Sadly Harold Pruett passed away in the early 2000s. This is a poignant episode from season three, when in fact really all of the episodes was about relationships and friendships and all.
