Law 101
Hitchcoc6 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is a really fun episode because the letter of the law gets in the way of justice. To start with our new Harvard grad who was tricked into flirting with a judge gets approached by him and faces serious professional consequences. Jamie must make a tough decision. The more pressing case involves a doctor and his now dead mistress, high profile. He has only his word against huge circumstantial evidence. He also lied on the stand about his drug use. The kicker is Lindsay's case. A real nut case has been arrested with a body in his trunk. But the arresting officer failed due process in looking in the trunk. He is kicked. But during her meetings with him, he admitted he killed the young woman in the previous case. If Lindsay goes public to save the other guy, legal in Massachusetts, she pretty much sacrifices her career. This is great drama. Can't wait.

Horrible episode

Warning: Spoilers
There have been other episodes in this series where innocent people have been found guilty but I this one in particular to be despicable because Lindsay had just spent some time in prison and knew what it was like to be incarcerated and for her to knowingly allow an innocent man go to prison for the rest of his life while having the power to set him free is DESPICABLE.

It is one thing to go to prison for having committed a crime but to lose ones freedom for something you did not do is the worst possible outcome that occurs in our criminal justice system and I find it repulsive for a lawyer to allow this to happen.
