The show opens with a D-Generation X cutting a promo. The first match is the New Age Outlaws defending the Tag Team Championship against the DOA. Marc Mero faces Tom Brandi. Owen Hart defends the European Championship against Mark Henry. The Headbangers and Taka Michinoku take on the Rock 'n' Roll Express and Barry Windham. Mike Tyson shocks the world by joining D-Generation X. Steve Blackman faces Kama Mustafa. Jeff Jarrett takes on Flash Funk. Steve Austin is supposed to wrestle Kane, but he gets ambushed by D-Generation X. Paul Bearer has a "ten bell salute" for the "late" Undertaker, until the Undertaker actually shows up. One of the better episodes of 1998.
