A Bitter Pill to Swallow (#4.1)

Becky and Mark are getting serious and she asks Roseanne to go on the pill. Roseanne is shocked but as Jackie says it agrees that it is better Becky comes to her. She tries to convince Becky not to do it and Becky tells her that they already did.

Roseanne is great in this episode as the mother dealing with the fact that her daughter is sexually active. One can see that she is both upset that he kid grows up but also remembers herself in that time and tries to do the best.

Mark is cute, I just can't. It was also cute how he was with Dan in this episode and how he always says "cool".

The final scene of Roseanne telling Dan a fairy tale was also fun.

In the episode "A bitter pill to swallow", Roseanne is confronted with a major issue: Becky thinks her relationship with Mark is serious and wants to use birth control pills. Roseanne agrees to take Becky to the doctor, hoping she will change her mind. Meanwhile, to keep watch on him, Dan gives Mark a job fixing motorcycles.

Now for the spoiler part...

When Roseanne tells Becky that it takes a month for the birth control pills to work, Becky confesses to her mom that she and Mark had sex, with a condom, and Roseanne continues on like this is nothing after promising not to tell.

During the end credits, Roseanne is telling a seemingly little kid story with the theme of the episode, and at the end, she basically said Mark is dead (not for real), and Dan claps like a little girl.
