Where There's A Will, There's A Way
hogwrassler22 September 2020
Pat receives a lawyer letter saying that his uncle Jim Merryweather has died and that his will leaves his ranch to Pat and his pretty cousin, Mary Merryweather. Two tough guys pick a fight with Pat and steal his copy of the letter. But Pat, Mary, Roy, Dale, and Bullet head for the ranch. A funny bit occurs when a hungry Pat keeps cooking himself some ham and eggs, but they disappear each time he turns his back. Eventually they learn that Uncle Jim is actually alive and has been playing dead to fool the outlaws who have been trying to kill him. Jim has been gobbling down Pat's breakfasts. He knew that as soon as Pat saw the will he would head for the ranch and help him out of this fix. It seems the outlaws have been stealing cattle and need Jim's ranch land to keep them on until they can be sold. Eventually there is a big showdown between the good guys and bad guys. Familiar character actors Tom London and Myron Healy have good roles. Pretty Mary Ellen Kay plays Mary. She was a good actress with excellent range. In The Lone Ranger episode, Outlaws in Greasepaint, she plays a female criminal who utilizes disguises and different voices to commit her crimes. This is a good RR episode with a well done blend of action and comedy.
