In "The Shower Head", Jerry's parents are in town after being banished from their condo. Jerry tries to find a way to get them back down to Florida, even if that means breaking up Uncle Leo and his girlfriend. New low-pressure shower heads are installed in the apartment building; Kramer, Newman, and Jerry must deal with the bad hair consequences of this. Newman finds a man selling shower heads on the black market. Elaine is planning on going to Africa for work but keeps failing a drug test due to testing positive for opium. It turns out it's due to her eating too many poppy seed muffins. George tries to convince his parents to move to Florida so he can get his own "buffer zone". This causes Jerry's parents to not want to move back.
I'm really starting to think that Season 7 is a bit of an underrated season. There are a lot of gems in here! Take this one for instance. The whole idea of a black market for shower heads for elephants is great. The back and forth between Jerry and George and their parents about moving to Florida is perfect. Moving out of spite might be the most petty thing I've ever heard of but I absolutely love it.
I noticed this time around that nothing is mentioned regarding George getting caught cheating with Marisa Tomei in the previous show. George seems more focused on making his parents move far away from him than he is on repairing his relationship. Regardless, another classic episode!
